Poway Stamp Club Board Members

Our Mission

The board is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s mission is clearly stated and enthusiastically supported. A commitment to the organization’s mission should drive the board’s and management’s priorities.

Our club's mission is to promote closer social connections among stamp collectors in San Diego County and surrounding areas and to help spread knowledge about stamps and the enjoyment of stamp collecting. The Poway Stamp Club is a place where you can interact with other philatelists, form new friendships, and connect with others who share your collecting interests.

The PSC Board goals are to:

.  Determine mission and purposes, and advocate for them.

  .  Ensure effective planning.

.  Monitor and strengthen programs and services.

  .  Ensure adequate financial resources.

.  Protect assets and provide financial oversight.

.  Build and sustain a competent board.

.  Ensure legal and ethical integrity.

.  Enhance the organization’s public standing

The PSC board and board members bring passion to their work and exercise it in their individual, collective, and coordinated activity to promote the organization outside the boardroom.
